Daily Electric Inc. was founded by James Daily, Sr. and has been servicing the Longview, TX area since 1955.  Mr. Daily used his knowledge and experience from working for General Electric to provide quality and efficient service to the people of East Texas.  James Daily Jr. took over the company from his father in 1968.  Alan Porter also joined the staff in 1968 and learned the craft taught to him by Mr. Daily.   In 1984, after working with James Junior for 16 years, Alan purchased the business and would spend the next two decades expanding the business and deepening relationships with his customers.  Alan, in keeping with the Daily tradition of family business, brought in his son Mark Porter in 2003.  Mark, having graduated from Texas A&M University (class of ‘00) with a degree in Industrial Distribution, immediately brought additional perspectives and knowledge to the already successful business.  After working alongside Alan for 13 years, Mark purchased Daily Electric in July of 2016 and is proud to continue its successful operation today.   Daily Electric Inc. prides itself in faith and family and aims to maintain a small, family-like atmosphere.  We take great pride in serving our community by treating others the way that we want to be treated.  Service is critical to our values as we strive to turn projects around in a timely manner without sacrificing quality workmanship.  To this day, free estimates and fair pricing are staples of what customers can expect from Daily Electric Inc. along with value and peace of mind.   Daily Electric Inc.’s staff relies on over 100 years worth of experience in the business of electric motor repair.  This level of experience provides us with the knowledge to diagnose and repair a multitude of electric motor problems.  Our customer service is available on the corporate industrial level as well as to the general public.   Daily Electric Inc. is a certified distributor of Baldor Motors and has been recognized yearly since 1991 as an “Outstanding Distributor”.  As a member of the Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA), we adhere to the standards and guarantees of the Electrical Apparatus Service Association, Inc.
